Determinants of Stunting Prevention among Mothers with Children Aged 6–24 Months

AIM: The purpose of this study was to analyze the determinants stunting prevention in relation mothers with children aged 6–24 months Madura Indonesia. METHODS: design cross-sectional. number samples totaled 109 respondents using a purposive sampling technique. independent variables were knowledge, attitudes, income, cultural values, and parenting. dependent variable prevention. data collected questionnaire then analyzed Chi-square test significance level α _< 0.05. RESULTS: factors associated knowledge (p = 0.007), attitude 0.034), income 0.006), values 0.016), parenting patterns 0.000). CONCLUSIONS: Knowledge, attitude, influenced parent’s strategy when it came prevent their children. Stunting programs should focus on improving parental behavior by modifying these factors.
